A military wife and Director of a Veteran Employment Initiative, Strategise Australia, Natalee is no stranger to the realities of Defence and operational deployments.
Driven by an entrepreneurial spirit she developed property as a teenager and established her first business in her early 20s, which rapidly evolved from online real estate photography into developing websites, online communities and new media campaigns for a range of SMEs, including Indigenous groups; local government; NFPs; international business leaders; and Defence.
When a multi-national advertising company offered her their leading Social Media position, Natalee couldn’t resist the opportunity to apply her knowledge of digital strategy and her award-winning commitment to customer service for global, house-hold-name, brands as well as a wide variety of Australian and New Zealand Government agencies (with a focus on Education, Health and Recruitment).
Recognised as a digital thought-leader, Natalee was frequently a keynote speaker and member of expert-panel discussions sharing her unique approaches with audiences across Australiasia.
Her appointment as Media Director of the Embassy of the United States of America brought her career full circle, where she applied her studies in International Relations, Japanese and International Development. Responsible for both the Mission’s traditional and new media, Natalee introduced innovative digital systems and took communication processes and international outreach programs to a new level.
Natalee’s also applies her love of practical design in corporate and residential built environments demonstrated by her success as a Property Developer and Design Consultant. An exhibited artist (painter and photographer) Natalee is equipped with a keen eye for composition, perspective, and a great appreciation for the psychology of aesthetics.
Recognised by every organisation she has worked with for her ability to lead and motivate small teams, her award-winning commitment to service underpins her approach to business and her passion for ensuring Veterans are recognised for their contribution.

U.S. Department of State’s Asia Pacific Regional Office
Among her many accomplishments, her work as the U.S Embassy’s Media Liaison for the Ambassador’s Innovation Roundtable with Australian entrepreneurs won a coveted Gold Award from the U.S. Department of State’s Asia Pacific Regional Office.

Nominated by her peers and supervisors for an eXcel Service Award as formal recognition for Natalee’s contribution to “The Spirit of Service, Safety, Environment, and Business”. She regularly received compliments from customers and team members for consistently delivering an excellent service experience, regularly going above and beyond expectations; and supporting team members with professional development.
Bravery Award
For saving the life of a passenger. Natalee rendered CPR for an hour before descent and during landing to ensure the survival of the passenger who was found unconscious on board a flight to London Heathrow. The passenger had suffered heart-failer and was successfully revived. The paramedics confirmed that the passenger would have died if it had not been for Natalee’s actions.
Bravery Award
For unwavering confidence in an Emergency Landing. Despite the fact that it was her first long-haul journey employed as Cabin Crew, Natalee demonstrated outstanding support and comfort to passengers while applying her newly-learned emergency procedures due to engine failure. The aircraft landed safely but all passengers and crew were displaced and shaken by the experience. Natalee’s attitude and service were commended by many passengers and fellow crew members.
